Is the meaning changed?

Not in “Spelling” mode: only mistakes are fixed. “Style” mode also smooths repetitions without changing the meaning.

Do I need a subscription?

This tool is part of Ara PDF Pro (from €6.99 a month, no commitment). Every visitor also gets 2 free trials a day, without signing up.

Is my document stored?

No. Only the document's text is sent, encrypted, to our AI service (Anthropic's Claude model) while it is processed. Neither the file nor the text is kept, and they are not used to train the AI.
